DTA RENTAL FLATS
Bring professional artistry to your stage with DTA's rental flats, painted on lightweight 1" or 2" foam board for easy handling. Each flat is a unique, hand-painted creation by our resident set painter and artist, Becca Dunst, offering vibrant detail and professional quality.
For simple mobility and setup, we recommend mounting the flats on clothing racks (readily available on Amazon) using zip ties - creating sturdy, easy-to-move set pieces that work in any performance space. At just $30 per flat, they're an affordable way to elevate your production's look.
Black & White Checkerboard (6 available) Bold and versatile, this flat features a crisp black-and-white checkerboard pattern. The striking design adds instant visual impact and can be used in a variety of settings - from whimsical fantasy worlds to stylized dance numbers. "Grease" Letter Flats (set of 6) This vibrant set of six flats spells out GREASE in bold, retro style - instantly setting the scene for the beloved musical. Professionally painted on lightweight foam, these pieces make a perfect backdrop for "Grease's" big numbers, photo ops, or promotional events. For added versatility, consider mounting alternate scenery flats on the reverse side, allowing you to turn them during the show to reveal new settings without a full scene change.

Greased Lighting A show-stopping set piece for "Grease!" This pair of two dimensional flats is painted on both sides - one side shows the beat-up, rusted version of the car, and the other reveals the sleek, shiny "dream" version. The flats split down the middle and flip to transition instantly between looks. A sturdy stand is included. Place rehearsal blocks behind the unit and it can appear as though actors are standing "on" the car - making this a fantastic, space-saving and cost-saving alternative to using a real vehicle on stage.
