2025 Audition Questionnaire

AUDITION WORKSHOPS

All campers participating in DTA's summer productions must attend an audition workshop for thier show(s). These workshops help us learn more about each camper's abilities and allow us to cast the shows before the first day of camp. Campers will receive their roles at the script handout at the end of May.

Workshops will include:

• A dance audition (no preparation needed- you will learn a short combination at the workshop)

• Reading from the script (sides will be provided in advance)

• Singing (based on your pre-screen vocal auditions, some campers may be asked to sing a song from the show. Music will be provided ahead of time so that you can prepare)

  
  

What to bring & wear:

• Dress comfortably to move.

If you are unable to attend the scheduled workshop for your show, and alternate audition time will be arranged for you.

Pre-Camp Workshop

Doylestown Theatre Academy offers pre-camp choreography and acting workshops for select characters in our teen intensive show (Grease) to give them a head start before camp begins. These rehearsals will be minimal—only one or two sessions—and we will schedule them based on your availability. Our goal is to ensure that you feel confident and prepared while keeping the time commitment manageable.
